
I am Cheyenne Lafferty, a teacher candidate at Thompson Rivers University and a proud member of the Tłı̨chǫ Nation. I am passionate about creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
My approach to teaching is grounded in relationships, hands-on learning, and respect for students’ identities, cultures, and experiences. I believe education should nurture the whole child; academically, socially, and emotionally.
This portfolio showcases my growth, experiences, and developing practice as I prepare to enter the teaching profession. I am excited to begin this journey and to make a positive difference in the lives of my future students.
